Hayward, Jennings in Call of Duty Grudge Match

To celebrate the launch of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection 2, Activision and Infinity Ward invited members of the press to check out the new maps and modes down in Venice Beach and participate in a sports-themed Grudge Match featuring Brandon Jennings of the Milwaukee Bucks and Gordon Hayward of the Utah Jazz. Unlike the first Grudge Match earlier this year, which pitted Super Bowl opponents Ahmad Bradshaw and Rob Gronkowski against each other, there was no animosity between Jennings and Hayward.  In fact, this might be the first time both players have ever been in a social situation together, so it is totally possible to leave these two in a room together and not have things get a little tense.  Chances are if Hayward had a walking boot, he wouldn't be tempted to bash it over Jennings' head.

That did not mean that they were going to take it easy on each other, though.  While Jennings admitted to not being as dedicated to gaming as Hayward was, he was preparing for this match by playing multiplayer Modern Warfare 3 with his friends until 5am (it also helped that he had just come home from a trip to China so staying up late was not that big a deal).  For his part, Hayward sharpens his skills by taking on his Jazz teammates Jeremy Evans and Derrick Favors - who along with Hayward was invited to play on the Team USA Basketball Select squad - quite regularly on the road.
