Larry Nance Jr.: What the power forward brings to the Cavaliers

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cavaliers acquired power forward Larry Nance Jr. on Thursday in a trade that sent Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and a 2018 first-round pick to the Lakers. The Cavaliers also received shooting guard Jordan Clarkson in the deal.

Nance shares his name with his father, who Cavaliers fans remember for his seven seasons in Cleveland. Nance Jr. starred at Revere High School before playing at Wyoming.

He was a first-round pick (27th overall) of the Lakers in 2015, and has mostly had a role off the bench.
