In Sheboygan, Friday is ‘Sam Dekker Day’

SHEBOYGAN - Sam Dekker is about to get his day in the spotlight.

Not that he doesn’t already know what that’s like.

Mayor Mike Vandersteen has declared this Friday will be Sam Dekker Day in the city of Sheboygan. The municipal recognition coincides with a jersey retirement ceremony slated for the same afternoon at Sheboygan Lutheran High School, Dekker’s local alma mater.
