Mike Tannenbaum oversees the contract negotiation and representation of football and basketball coaches for both professional and collegiate sports, as well as the agency’s broadcasting operations. Tannenbaum has personally been a part of three NFL Head Coach searches and interview processes, and hired over 100 assistant coaches in his career.

Before coming to Priority Sports, Mike Tannenbaum was hired by the New York Jets in 1997 as Director of Player Contract Negotiations, and worked his way up to become the youngest GM in the NFL at the time of his hire in 2006.  His tenure as GM was one of the most successful in franchise history.  From 2006 – 2012, the Jets had an overall record of 61-58, reached the playoffs three times, and reached the AFC Championship game in back-to-back seasons in 2009 and 2010. 

Tannenbaum is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and also a cum laude graduate of Tulane Law School.
